Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are provided based on the information supplied at the time of enquiry.

Quotes may change if:

  • the volume of items is significantly different from what was described

  • access to the property is restricted or different from expected

  • additional items or services are requested on the day

  • waiting time or delays occur outside our control

Where possible we will always discuss any changes before proceeding.

The price quoted is the price you pay unless additional work is requested.

Bookings

Bookings can be made by phone, email or through the website.

We will confirm the agreed date, time and details of the service where possible.

While we aim to arrive at the agreed time, traffic conditions, weather, previous jobs and other factors outside our control may occasionally cause delays.

Customer Responsibilities

To help ensure the job runs smoothly, customers should:

  • provide accurate information about the items to be moved or cleared

  • ensure reasonable access to the property

  • ensure fragile or valuable items are clearly identified

  • pack smaller items securely where packing services are not requested

  • ensure children and pets are safely supervised during the work

We reserve the right to refuse to move items that may pose a safety risk.

Waste Disposal and Clearance

Where items are removed as part of a clearance service, we aim to dispose of waste responsibly and in accordance with relevant regulations.

Where possible items may be reused, recycled or taken to licensed waste facilities.

Certain items may require special handling or disposal and may not be accepted.

Liability

We take reasonable care when handling items.

However, Bridport Removals cannot accept responsibility for:

  • items that are not properly packed by the customer

  • pre-existing damage to items or furniture

  • fragile items not clearly identified before the move

  • damage caused by structural issues or restricted access within a property

Customers are encouraged to inform us in advance about fragile, valuable or unusual items.

Delays and Access Issues

If access to the property is restricted, unsafe or significantly different from what was described, we may need to adjust the service or price.

Delays caused by access problems, parking restrictions or waiting times may result in additional charges.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please let us know as soon as possible.

We understand that plans change and will always try to accommodate rearrangements where possible.
